The ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus has understandably raised many questions and concerns for federal employees. NTEU Chapter 172, has been pursuing answers and resources that will be useful and supportive. This page will be dedicated to providing members up to date news on testing sites and other COVID -19 resources.

**NTEU Chapter 172 encourages members to utilize CDC best practices such as wearing a mask while working and when interacting with the public off duty.**

COVID-19 Guidance for CBP management

Concerns about Presidential announcement to have every federal government employee and onsite contractor be asked to attest to their vaccination status. Anyone who does not attest to being fully vaccinated will be required to wear a mask on the job no matter their geographic location, physically distance from all other employees and visitors, comply with a weekly or twice weekly screening testing requirement, and be subject to restrictions on official travel.

You can find information on Telework in Article 15.  There are two types of Telework schedules.  First there is CORE Telework and second there is Situational/Episodic Telework.  Both of these types of Telework are voluntary.
